The
cellist Aage Kvalbein is one of Norways most prominent musicians,
both as a soloist, a chamber musician and a pedagog. After
his debut in 1973 he has been praised by critics all over
the world and he has won several international competitions.
He is also a 3 times winner of 'Spellemansprisen', the most
prestigious Norwegian award for musicians. At the age of
33 he became Norways first 'cello professor' - a position
he still holds - and he has recorded over 40 records. We
are very proud to present Aage Kvalbein in Concert at The
Norwegian Seamen's Church in New York.
